Soft Bottom Boards

The term “Softbottom” refers to the material used on the bottom of the board. This is a high-density polyetholyne with a slick laminate. This is similar to what you find on the bottom of a high-end bodyboard.

It is extremely durable and can withstand the years of abuse of being thrown into the back of cars and being tossed on the rocks. It is also easily repairable using standard ding repair or hot glue. The fins we use are made of durable rubber. They’re stiff enough to not hinder performance, but soft enough so they won’t do too much damage.

These boards are made by hand here in Carlsbad, California. We’ve spent the last decade perfecting the best and most fun Softboards on the planet.
